POST-ACOUSTICA

Alarm Will Sound premieres Post-Acoustica, the follow-up to its groundbreaking 2005 album Acoustica: Alarm Will Sound performs Aphex Twin. Post-Acoustica reflects the ways in which AWS and the electronic music world have changed since 2005. In addition to re-imaginings of music by Aphex Twin, Alarm Will Sound worked directly with artists like SOPHIE, Jlin, King Britt, Lucrecia Dalt, and Tim Exile to create acoustic reworkings of music originally created to be performed by machines. The result sees the musicians of AWS using helium, bicycle pumps, Dremel tools, and more to recreate these tracks live.
